ScrewRail® Actuator Assemblies
The ScrewRail® linear actuator includes a precision lead screw integrated within a guide rail, which drives an integrated nut. This assembly combines the seperate functions of drive and guidance in one single coaxial component.
The ScrewRail® eliminates the need for external rail-to-screw alignment and simplifies the design, manufacture and assembly of motion control systems. The combined design saves much of the space used by a two-rail system and is generally less expensive.
Additionally, the ScrewRail® is capable of providing 3D motion when mounted vertically. With one motor driving the screw and a second rotating the rail, an accurate positioning mechanism is created.
